Last year, Dogs Trust cared for more than 12,500 dogs across our UK network of 21 rehoming centres, with the aim of finding them loving new homes.
However, more than this, we want to see all dogs living full, safe and happy lives. So, when a dog is in distress, we care for them. When a dog needs a home, we aim to find them a loving family. When an owner needs a helping hand or they just can’t cope, we are ready to step in.
For every dog, for every owner, we are by their side through thick and thin, throughout their lives. The bond they have is special to us. It changes lives, making each day happier and more complete. It is why we believe A dog is for life.®
Of course, to continue to make this happen, we need the support of dog owners, dog lovers, wider communities - you - both today and tomorrow. Therefore, thank you for the significant part you play.
Dogs Trust Village
We are once again excited to partner with DogFest this year, as it gives us a fantastic opportunity to interact with supporters, highlighting the varied work of our charity and the joys of having a rescue dog.
Our Dogs Trust Village will be at each DogFest 2024 event, where we will have information about some of our dogs who are looking for their forever homes. So, if you want to rehome a dog, please come along and have a chat with us to start your rehoming journey.
Meanwhile, if you have a former Dogs Trust dog, make sure you pop over to say hello, as we love to catch up with our former canine residents and see how happy they are. We will also have lots of activities taking place in the Village itself to entertain dogs, dog lovers, and owners - plus, our team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
So, ‘follow the yellow’ and we’ll see you there!
