What’s On This Page

As we head to the end of January, how are you doing with your New Years Resolutions? We hope you didn’t bite off more than you can chew. Let’s not be too hard on ourselves, let’s celebrate the small wins. Instead of climbing a mountain. What about a gentle stroll?

These little walks we’ve chosen will get the blood moving and the head clear as we come to the end of National Walk Your Dog Month. The last 2 walks we’ve selected for you are from Hertfordshire.

Our Top Walks in Hertordshire are:

1. Colney Heath South Circular

An exciting 3 mile walk around Colney Heath, near Hatfield. You’ll be walking for about 1 hour and 21 minutes. This is a great place to see birds, fish, and other animals. Dogs get to run free in certain areas.

2. Aldbury and Pitstone Common Circular

This is a wonderful walk through the beautiful countryside near Tring, Hertfordshire. You’ll be exploring a circular trail that’s about 8 miles long.

Along the way, you and your dog may see birds, and even fish! There are plenty of places where dogs can run free.

Hope you loved your bracing winter walkies!

You’ve deserved a hot cup of soul warming cocoa with a happy dog sleeping under your feet.
