Here’s the inside scoop on how we pull off the UK’s BIGGEST dog parties!

Picture this: You walk through the DogFest gates and boom – dogs of all shapes and sizes are wagging their tails, their humans just as hyped. The air’s buzzing with laughter, music, woofs and the irresistible smell of festival food. It’s pure magic! Then you start wondering – how does all this even happen?

Did you know?

It takes 20,000 pink balls to fill the ball pit at each show
It takes 27 suppliers and 5 crew 4 days to build each show
Our production lorry travels 1,853 miles for DogFest in a year
There have been 17 and counting SOS emergency call outs to farmers who have kindly helped us remain on schedule pulling out a total of 311 beached vehicles since 2020!

There’s no shortage of excitement for us here!

Plans in the works, paws on the clock!

If you think DogFest is a magical, perfectly planned event, you’d be right!

First, the planning starts way in advance – like, a whole year before the first pup even steps through the gate!

We lock in the perfect places, each getting its own special touch to make sure it’s just right for all the action.

Once they are set, the fun begins! Doggy splash zones, big dog walks, breed meet ups, have-a-go games, expert training sessions, agility courses and more. Mix in a little learning, a lot of fun, and the right amount of friendly competition and it’s the perfect concoction to keep tails wagging all weekend!

Teaming up with dog-loving pros and awesome sponsors!

But hey, it’s not just about the dogs (as much as we adore them!) – it’s also about the awesome partners and sponsors who make it all possible. From tasty food brands to toy makers and animal welfare heroes, they’re all here to fuel the fun and show off the best of the best for our furry pals.

And of course, no DogFest would be complete without our amazing trainers, vets, and behaviourists sharing their tips and tricks to help every dog-human duo level up their game!

The logistics (aka the behind-the-scenes magic)

Not forgetting our dream team – the real MVPs! They make sure everything runs like clockwork. From parking to doggy water stations, they’ve thought of everything to keep everyone happy all day long.

What you might not know about our team:

Our Features Manager Chloe can fly a helicopter, has presented for Crufts & Blue Peter and knows the name of every flag in the world.
Our Head of Marketing is called Cat, but she promises she loves dogs! She once got locked inside Windsor Great Park whilst building a festival and had to run away from a large herd of horses. We will have tabs on her this year!
Our Sales Manager Mia has had a mug of tea with Queen Camilla!
Our Head of Sales Pippa has taken over 50,000 photos of dogs at DogFest over the years. Pray for her iCloud storage!
The team have a combined 180 years of experience working in festivals!

Barking the news far and wide!

Once everything’s ready to go, our marketing squad jumps into action. Social media, emails, influencer collabs – they’ve got it covered. By the time festival day rolls around, thousands of dog lovers are counting down, all pumped up to be part of the ultimate doggy day out!

Showtime! The big day arrives!

Finally, after months of planning, it’s time to open the gates! We are up bright and early, making sure everything runs smoothly – from greeting guests to keeping activities on track. Volunteers are scattered all over, ready to lend a hand (or paw!) so you and yours have the best time ever.

Organising DogFest takes a lot of work, but seeing those smiles, wagging tails, and pure joy? Totally worth it.
