Kick off the day with the ultimate countryside crowd-pleaser! Watch skilled handlers and their brilliant sheepdogs work as a team to guide sheep around the arena with speed, precision, and total focus. It’s impressive, fast-paced, and a real glimpse into working farm life.
10:40am Working Dogs Demo

From incredible obedience to real-world working skills, this demo shows just how amazing dogs can be when they’ve got a job to do. Expect agility, control, teamwork and plenty of “wow, how did they do that?!” moments as these talented dogs show off their training.
11:20am Birds of Prey Demo

Look up – the sky’s about to get exciting. Experience the power and beauty of birds of prey as they take flight across the arena, with expert handlers explaining what makes each species so special. A thrilling, family-friendly display that’s sure to be a highlight.
12:00pm Dog Training Session: Farmyard Foundations (The Must-Know Basics)

A friendly, practical training session packed with everyday skills that make life easier – whether you’re at DogFest, out on a walk, or at home. Perfect for puppies, excitable dogs, and anyone who wants a calmer, happier companion.
You’ll learn:
– how to get your dog’s attention fast (even with distractions!)
– simple lead-walking tips for less pulling
– a reliable “sit” and “stay” you can actually trust
– confidence-building tips for nervous dogs in busy spaces
– a fun mini “settle” skill to help your dog relax anywhere
12:40pm James Martin, Jason Mayhew & Cooper

Join celebrity chef James Martin, expert gundog trainer Jason Mayhew and friends for a brilliant gundog demonstration celebrating the skill, teamwork, and versatility of these remarkable dogs.
James will be working with his much-loved cocker spaniel, Cooper, alongside Jason, as they’re joined by a range of gundog breeds to showcase what gundogs are capable of – and the vital roles they play in the field.
Jason is a Kennel Club A Panel judge and the gundog trainer on the Cowdray Estate. A successful competitor, he has travelled across Europe sharing his knowledge and experience with other handlers.
1:20pm Sheepdog Trials

They’re back! Catch another chance to see sheepdogs in action as they guide sheep smoothly around the arena, responding to every signal from their handler. It’s a true test of skill and teamwork – and always amazing to watch.
2:00pm Working Dogs Demo

More action, more skills, more incredible training. This second working dogs demo brings a fresh round of impressive routines and real-life working ability, showing off just how intelligent, focused and capable these dogs really are.
2:40pm Birds of Prey Demo

A second chance to experience these breathtaking birds in flight. Watch them swoop, soar and glide right across the arena as handlers share fascinating facts and show off their incredible natural instincts.
3:20pm Dog Training Session: Tricks, Games & Show-Off Skills

End the day with a high-energy, feel-good session focused on fun training you can try straight away. Expect big smiles, crowd-pleasing tricks, and loads of “aww!” moments as dogs show what they can do.
You’ll see (and can try at home):
– easy tricks like spin, weave, paw and touch
– a “find it” game that keeps your dog engaged
– a simple recall game to make coming back more exciting
– confidence games to build bravery and focus
4:15pm Best in Show

Time for the grand finale! Join us as we celebrate the brilliant winners from the Agria Fun Dog Show with our Best in Show showcase. Expect proud tail wags, big cheers, and a feel-good end to the day as some very special dogs take their moment in the spotlight.
