Making sure our events are accessible is a crucial part of our planning. We are committed to making everyone’s experience enjoyable.
Complimentary Carer Tickets
Standard Entry:
Carer tickets are only available with a payable standard entry DogFest ticket.
Please select the accessible ticket option on our booking page which includes one free of charge carer ticket which will be issued when you select an accessible ticket.
DogFest Plus:
Carer tickets are available for DogFest Plus, but please note these are entry only tickets – they will allow entry into the show and to the DogFest Plus Paddock, but do not include any of the complimentary items, such as dog bandanas or complimentary drinks.
If you require a carer ticket for DogFest Plus, please select the DogFest Plus Accessible Admission ticket at check out – this allows for one ticket at a reduced price of £10 (£12 on the gate) for every DogFest Plus ticket purchased.
You may be asked to show proof of eligibility on the day of your visit.
We accept the following proof:
- A valid Access Card with a +1 symbol
- Blue Badge
- A copy of a current award letter of DLA
- PIP
- Attendance Allowance or similar
- Impairment specific registration card/certificate or a recent personal letter of support from your hospital specialist clearly stating the need for a substantial amount of support from another person.
Blue Badge Parking
Yes, there is a dedicated Blue Badge Parking area close to the venue entrance. Blue badge parking is free of charge and does not need to be booked in advance.
Event Mobility
Event Mobility will be providing electric mobility scooters and manual wheelchairs at this event for the use of mobility impaired, disabled and elderly visitors.

Online bookings must be made up to two days before the event.
Bookings cannot be taken during the event. If there is spare equipment available at the event it is offered on a first come, first served basis only.

Own a mobility scooter?
If you bring your own mobility scooter, please ensure that it is fit for purpose, bearing in mind that the event takes place in a grassy field. DogFest will not take any responsibility for accidents resulting from use of unsuitable private mobility scooters.
Accessible Toilets
All of our events have wheelchair accessible toilets as well as a high dependency toilet unit (HDU). With a height adjustable bed, privacy screen and hoist, the HDU ensures that everyone can enjoy DogFest in a safe and dignified space.
These will be labelled on our festival map and signposted at the event.
Seating
There will be seating areas dotted around the festival. These will be labelled on our festival map and signposted at the event.
